Checkpoints – Health Centres for the Community

Various studies in Switzerland have shown: gay and other men who have sex with men (MSM), are not only severely affected by HIV and other transmitted infections (STI); their general state of health is clearly worse than that of the general public.

Other worldwide studies indicate similar trends among transgender people.

Besides the core exercise of HIV/STI are the low-threshold Checkpoint walk-in centres with offers which are in tune with the needs and expectations of gay men, other MSM’s and transgender people.

The offer should help you to attain good health – that means achieving a condition and feeling of well-being, not only in a medical way but also psychologically and socially.

Gay men and transgender people work in the Checkpoints for gay men and transgender people.
